Authentic Morocco

Morocco today remains one of a handful of continuously stable countries in the Middle East and North Africa. The relationships and strategic partnerships between Morocco; and Europe and the USA helps to foster the continuance of Morocco’s stability over the longer term.
Politically this is a stable country which is peacefully progressing towards modernizing democratic reforms. Morocco has a strong vision for future; especially tourism industry.
Moroccans practice a moderate, peaceful and tolerant form of Islam and any incidents of extremism are severely punished. Morocco has been praised internationally for their comprehensive counter-terrorism strategy; which is a model for combating terrorism in the region and around the world. They are cited as not only identifying and neutralizing existing terrorist threats through traditional law enforcement and security measures; but are also engaged in preventative measures to discourage terrorist recruitment through political reform and policy measures.

Tourism is an important part of Morocco’s economy and there are effective registration; and licensing systems in place for Morocco travel guides. Tourist police are present in every city and crime is low, commonly confined to petty theft on public transport.

+ Camel Trekking Safaris and Luxury Desert Camp Tips:

Merzouga Camel Trekking

As a traveler, you have many questions comes to your mind about this amazing Morocco Sahara desert experience; which will be a lifetime experience and unforgettable memories later.

– How many hours will be on the camel trekking?
You will have about 1h 30min camel riding through Erg Chebbi sand dunes to the the heart of the Sahara; Have opportunity to stop for a break, to take beautiful photos with a request to your camel guide.
– Shoes and pant?
You need some shoes that could be useful for a walk in the sand dunes; so not to worry about the sand goes inside them; also a jean will be good to wear while on you are on your camel back.

– Sun cream and sun Glasses?
Very important to have them both because of the sand storms which happens sometimes; or even a light wind makes the sand hurt your eyes. Sun cream will protect your skin from sun burns, in addition to this; we will provide you with a turban to cover your face and hair from the sun or sand as well.
– Bottle of Water?
Please before you mount your camel make sure you have enough water with you.
–Is the Tent private or shared?
Of course private, every couple has a private room tent to sleep in; if a family so the kids will share one and the parents will have a private one; if you wish you can also sleep under the stars.

+ How long does it take to drive to Merzouga Desert Sahara from your arrival city?

Don’t think of the drive as a way to get from city x to city y. Traveling to the Sahara Desert is a great road-trip through amazing; and diverse landscapes (such as middle and high Atlas Mountains, road of 1000 Kasbahs; Berber Villages and palm groves along the way, and more…). Fes to Merzouga desert is one day (about seven hours plus stops); and the Sahara desert of Merzouga to Marrakech is two days (about six hours each day plus stops). If you have more time, there are some great places to explore and break up the drive.

Around Morocco Tours
  • How many days do we need to stay in Morocco if we want to include the Sahara Desert?

Morocco desert trek tours are different from a traveler to an other. We tend to recommend two nights in the Sahara desert. If you wish to see most of the highlights of Morocco, that typically means 7 days minimum. Many clients stay two weeks. There are two Saharan Ergs (areas of shifting dunes) in Morocco, Erg Chebbi and Erg Chigaga. They are both situated in the remote south / south eastern; desert region of Saharan Morocco beyond the Atlas mountain range.
